One of the many good reasons to deploy an IRT for your clinical study is to manage the shipment of Clinical Trial Material (CTM) from warehouses and depots to clinical sites (and vice versa!) The IRT tracks drug orders, status in transit, shipment receipt, returns, and so on. Requests for shipments using the VLIRT® system can be generated manually, automatically, or both, using configurable alerts…and the shipment methods preferred can vary by clinical site.
